About the challenge
Trident Hacks is a 'three stage' National Level Hackathon projected to be the LARGEST student run hackathon in India!
The hackathon is completely online removing all kinds of barriers in the way of innovation!
Our aim is to allow the innovation and creativity captured in the young minds of this country to flourish by providing them with a platform to build a better world through code!
Trident Hacks is a "beginner friendly hackathon" with numerous workshops and resources to aid your journey. All this will slowly, and steadily, make India- the coding capital of the world! That is the bigger picture.
In the first round, you do not even need to submit a working project, just an idea! This would give everyone time to grasp the necessary to make the project that can change the world!

Requirements
What to Build
You can build anything for the hackathon, from a simple website to a complex machine learning model. Whatever can be imagined by you, is accepted in the hackathon.
The themes for the hackathon are as follows:
- Blockchain/Web 3
- Digital Life
- AI
- AR/VR
- Health and Environmental development
- Miscellaneous
Upon choosing the themes in the first round, the teams shall be required to submit only the idea and the plan they have to implement given idea. Guidelines on how to make this submission shall be shared shortly.
In the second round, qualified teams would be required to develop a working prototype on the given idea and give a live presentation/demo on the same
In the final round, the finalists would be given 24 hours to work on a problem statement. Teams will be required to create a solution and give a live presentation on the same in the given time frame.
What to Submit
No programming is required to submit your idea for the first round of the hackathon. The idea is to be submitted in the form of a pdf outlining the concept of the idea, the technologies the team plans on using for making the same, etc. The judging criteria for the first round of the hackathon is as follows:
1. Uniqueness/ Originality of Idea [10 points]
2. Clarity of plan of implementation [10 points]
3. Innovation [10 points]
4. Use of technology [10 points]
5. Relevance to selected theme and impact on world [10 points]
Your pdf should be having your name as well as the names of your teammates [Each team needs to submit only once] along with the region you are submitting from [North, South, East, West or Open]. The pdf is to be submitted in the "Upload a File" field in the "Additional info" tab. All compulsory questions are to be answered. In the "Built with" field in the "Project Details" tab, please fill in the technologies/ frameworks you plan on using. Video links, Image links as well Github repositories are not necessary for this round. Note: Teams qualifying from this round will be notified and will be required to present a working project of the idea they proposed in Round I for the Regional Finals. More on this will be disclosed in due course of time.
